My April in Pictures

Well, things haven’t slowed down in the least, so blogging has yet again taken a back burner. But that’s OK, because I’m experiencing a season of “lasts” right now that I’m trying to soak up with all I’ve got. Since our youngest is graduating this year, this was our last Spring Break to go play (who knows where everyone will be next year), so we headed to St. George for some “glamping” and hiking at Zions. And I have to say, the Angel’s Landing hike was AMAZING. Really hard to put into words. I’m sure we’ll do it again and again.

Then last weekend, we enjoyed a quick trip to Rexburg to help Kalli move back, and also to check out Chase & JaLynn’s new house out in Archer (it’s by Big Jud’s for anyone who knows the Rexburg area). It’s an adorable fixer upper that they’ve already made so cute. Made me homesick for the town I love so much.

Finally, this weekend we went to Breck’s BYU graduation (also celebrated Katelyn’s graduation from ASU but without the robes!) and then helped them pack up their apartment to move to Indiana so he can start his PhD. We’re not sure how we’re going to survive with them that far away, but we’re excited to watch as they tackle this new adventure with their adorable little family.

There’s so much going on right now that’s tugging on my heart, but I guess that’s just part of being a momma. So today, that’s what you get – because that’s where my heart has been. Hope you’re loving spring as much as we are!
